This paper explores a new automated solution that improves on the cumbersome post-printing processes commonly associated with Stereolithography (SLA) resin removal. This comprehensive solution is anchored by a newly developed detergent chemistry, PG1.2, that provides users with quicker processing times and increased resin capacity while reducing the number of processing steps when compared to traditional industry methods.
When combined with the software-driven Submersed Vortex Cavitation (SVC) technology, this new solution provides lower operator attendance time with reduced environmental hazards, preservation of fine feature details, and overall improved resin removal from SLA printed parts.
