In the three-step additive manufacturing process, the design and build phases are often tackled first. The conceptually perfect design file, however, might not result in your ideal finished end part. Often times, the post-print process, when not taken into consideration during design, can add unnecessary cost and labor to achieve customer-ready results. Simple tweaks to the design that do not impact fit, form, or function can actually result in an optimized workflow in the end.
