SalesAccount Manager – Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) business and act as the first point of contact for customers looking to purchase consumables or service contracts. Being a growth stage company, this role has a wide range of potential opportunities to uncover and pursue that require prioritization and tenacious follow up.

The successful candidate will have the ability to position our recurring revenue offerings to a wide-ranging customer base, as well as possess outstanding communication skills to clearly articulate our value proposition. He/she will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure proper alignment and follow-through for success in the closure of orders.

This role is critical for a growth company to build sales momentum, remaining nimble and moving at lightning speed while staying laser-focused on pursuing the right opportunities. The position necessitates a critical balance of communication, technical, analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, team-based environment.

Salary Range: $50K – $60K + uncapped commission and Equity in the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Directly responsible for growing the Global Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) business, consisting of recurring consumables, service contracts and software subscriptions in North American, European, and Asian markets.
  • Demonstrate the unique value proposition of our solutions, promoting and selling our consumable, service and software offerings.
  • Maintain a healthy sales lead funnel, expediently moving leads through the process to closure.
  • Prospect heavily within the global PostProcess installed base, both on the phone and in person, to meet quarterly revenue targets.
  • Work Closely with our authorized channel partner network, creating strategies and programs to help grow and develop their ARR business.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their solutions are protected by our service plans and performing optimally with our consumables.
  • Methodically maintain data in the CRM database to facilitate an efficient and effective sales process and high bandwidth communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the ARR business manager and the marketing team to create innovative programs to better access our installed customer base and grow our ARR business.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative team player approach. Ability to build trust and confidence with peers and other stakeholders.
  • Skilled at listening and uncovering the customer’s unique needs and pain points to effectively position our recurring revenue offerings.
  • Superior prospecting and closing skills on the phone, via email and in person.
  • Must have high energy, be self-motivated, and be able to work independently to achieve objectives.
  • Strong and effective communicator including clear, concise, and professional oral and written skills.
  • Great multitasking and prioritization skills with the ability to quickly filter to the highest potential opportunities.
  • Extremely well organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail, especially in communications and tracking of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
  • Interest in cutting-edge technology a plus.
  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field preferred.
  • 2-4 years technical sales, business sales, and start-up growth experience preferred.
  • Experience working with CRM programs such as Salesforce required.
  • Expertise with Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experienced phone and email communications and sales calling campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
