As a Software Product Manager, you will be responsible for guiding the development of PostProcess’ software solutions that solidifies the company’s leadership in the post-print additive manufacturing space.

The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically about our business and our customers’ success while working in collaboration across all departments and all teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction to our growing list of global customers. We’re an early-stage company so the need to establish processes while remaining nimble and moving at lightning speed will be an important objective.

What Success Looks Like

  • Key responsibility for AUTOMAT3D and CONNECT3D software solutions as well as new products under development.
  • Define product strategy and roadmap definition for internal planning and external communication to customers and partners. Drive strategic planning process with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and the Senior Leadership Team to shape the vision for future offerings with successful product/market fit.
  • Lead the Company’s analytics strategy including approaches to data collection, machine learning, and predictive modeling; define vision and create high-level architecture. Lead high-level planning for multi-tenant, hosted capability including support of SaaS offerings.
  • Work with software developers to lead the software planning process including requirements gathering, investment prioritization, MVP definition, on-going backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Define and execute the Company’s software commercialization strategy including pricing models and subscription & maintenance options in conjunction with Finance & Sales to maximize growth and profitability.
  • Assess competitors and evaluate features/functions of their products, pricing models, and positioning to drive internal strategies.
  • Investigate and develop strategic software partnerships in support of digital thread objectives.
  • Assess value for both parties, and joint value for mutual customers
    Define vision and create high-level architecture for software integration.
  • Articulate partner strategy and customer value to internal and external audiences.
  • Evaluate the AM software landscape, assess vendor capabilities and define a market map of industry solutions
  • Extend the Company’s leadership role, unique value-add and defensible differentiation in the digital thread value chain
  • Perform market analysis to identify high-value opportunities for growth and expansion; provide recommendations for prioritized investment
  • Create core messaging content for use by Marketing including description of new functionality, features/benefits doc, etc.
  • Orchestrate and provide cross-functional leadership for market readiness that ensures successful market adoption of new releases.
  • Team closely with direct leader to develop OKRs that are laser-aligned with our company OKRs
  • Meet monthly OPEX targets

  • Effective communicator that is always direct and transparent with the courage and ability to take a strong position when required for the good of the company. Also able to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally
  • A penchant for experimentation with the ability to make decisions with limited data and be willing to fail fast. A continuous improvement / growth mindset and approach are essential.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Google Drive, Gmail, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office
  • Interest in cutting edge technology a plus

Requirements You'll Need

  • BS in a technical field; MBA preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of software product management experience
  • Software development experience
  • Experience with analytics and machine learning solutions
  • Knowledge of the additive manufacturing space
  • Experience in an early stage, high growth company is beneficial
