PostProcess Technologies Secures 26th Automated Post-Processing Solution Installation at the World’s Leading Consumer Electronics Company

Long-Standing Customer Expands Automated Post-Processing Across FDM, PolyJet, Wax, and Resin Applications at 14 Locations Worldwide

Buffalo, NY, USA, and Mougins, FranceAugust 26, 2026 – PostProcess Technologies, the global leader in automated and intelligent post-processing solutions for additive manufacturing (AM), today announced the sale of its 25th and 26th solutions to its largest customer, a global technology leader renowned for its consumer electronics and hardware innovation.

The two newest solutions, both PostProcess® DEMI X 520™ for Wax Removal systems, further expand a long-standing strategic relationship focused on automating and optimizing additive manufacturing workflows. With these additions, the customer’s global PostProcess footprint has scaled to 26 solutions across 14 locations worldwide, including six new solutions added within the last year. The continued expansion reflects the organization’s growing reliance on additive manufacturing and its commitment to automating post-processing as a critical part of its AM workflow.

PostProcess solutions are currently deployed across four key additive manufacturing post-processing applications:

  • PolyJet Support Removal (42%) – Representing the largest portion of the customer’s PostProcess system configuration, these solutions consistently remove PolyJet supports while substantially reducing manual labor.
  • Wax Support Removal (31%) – Supporting additive manufacturing applications requiring highly efficient and repeatable industrial wax support removal.
  • Resin Cleaning (19%) – Automating resin removal for photopolymer-based additive manufacturing, enabling a faster, safer, and more efficient workflow.
  • FDM Support Removal (8%) – Automating FDM support removal, reducing manual labor and part breakage while improving workflow speed and consistency.

This milestone demonstrates the value of a technology partnership that extends well beyond the initial purchase of equipment. As the PostProcess fleet continues to grow with this global consumer goods manufacturer, so has its investment in the consumables, accessories, and service needed to keep these systems operating at peak performance.

Recurring purchases of PostProcess consumables and accessories reflect the customer’s daily use of the technology across its additive manufacturing operations. Its continued investment in service and warranty support further demonstrates a proactive approach to maintaining equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and preventing post-processing bottlenecks within its AM workflow.

“When one of the most innovative companies in the world scales to 26 of our solutions, with many more planned, it clearly demonstrates that automated post-processing is no longer optional but a key element of the additive workflow,” said Jeff Mize, CEO of PostProcess Technologies. “Partnering together to deeply integrate our full-stack solutions into their daily AM operations has resulted in significant increases in throughput, consistency, and safety while delivering a compelling ROI.”

By replacing traditional manual processes with intelligent automation, PostProcess continues to help its customers improve part consistency, optimize highly skilled labor, and create a safer, production-ready environment.
